BioAbove all else, your journal should be a place you feel comfortable writing and practicing the different rhetorical and compositional techniques we discuss in class. You are not graded on your composition here, but on the effort you put into experimenting with writing. Feel free to share and dialogue (remember dialogos?) with your classmates -- I encourage sharing, though it is not required.
This community is designed as a place where I can list your nightly assignments and the prompts, questions, and exercises to which you will respond in your own journals. Do not respond in a comment to my original post, as I am not likely to go looking for your response there. And please try to keep posts on topic!

What should happen is this:
- I will post a prompt.
- You will respond in your own journal.
- I will read the Friends List on my own journal to view your responses.
Some notes about confidentiality and anonymity:
- Remember to keep the posts in your journal viewable to friends only, so that people outside LJ cannot read them.
- If you do not want your journal to be anonymous, feel free to make a post inviting others to add you to their friends list. Once this is done, they'll be able to read your posts.
- In order to get credit for your nightly journal entries, I have to be able to see that you've made a response, so remember to create a filter so that I can see your posts! I don't need to be able to see everything, but I do need to be able to see that for which you wish to receive credit.
